Seunghyun Min

Seunghyun Min is a Senior Data Scientist II at Cruise, working on developing ML models to evaluate the safety performance of autonomous vehicles. Prior to this, Seunghyun was a Senior Data Scientist at eHealth, Inc., where they led a lifetime-value project. With a Ph.D. in Statistics from UCLA, Seunghyun has a strong background in research and teaching, with experience in areas such as high-dimensional regression, machine learning, Bayesian statistics, and statistical modeling. They have also worked as a Researcher at Korea Small Business Institute and Yonsei University, focusing on statistical evidence for public policies and developing Bayesian models for estimating time-varying coefficients. Additionally, Seunghyun served in the military as a Korean Augmentation to the US Army.
