Wilbur Araujo

Wilbur Araujo is an experienced leader in the autonomous vehicle industry, currently serving as the Vice President of Autonomous Vehicle Development at Cruise since August 2017. Araujo oversees a team of over 250 engineers responsible for vehicle builds, upgrades, and hardware integration for innovative products like Cruise WAV, the first wheelchair-accessible driverless vehicle. Previous roles include Operations and Business Development at Luxe, CEO and Co-Founder of Auto Breeze, and a Strategy & Business Development Intern at PICT.com. Araujo's extensive career also features a decade of engagement with the New York Public Interest Research Group in various leadership roles. Araujo holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management and a BA in Criminal Justice from the University at Albany.
