Vijay Raghunathan

Vijay Raghunathan has extensive work experience in various industries including technology, payments, and banking. Vijay is currently the Director of Crunchfish India Private Limited, a position they have held since 2022. In 2022, they also co-founded Paymentgenie Private Limited, a company focused on enabling offline digital payments and gift card processing in India.

In 2020, Vijay co-founded DocGenie Telemedicine, a platform established during the Covid pandemic to provide high-quality healthcare at home. Prior to that, they worked as a Consultant at Development Alternatives from 2017 to 2018. From 2014 to 2017, they served as the Managing Director at Stellr-India, a payments-centric technology business.

Earlier in their career, Vijay held multiple roles at American Express, including Vice President of Global Operations, Enterprise Growth Servicing, and Director of Marketing & Strategy. Vijay also played a significant role in growing American Express's middle market business in India. Before joining American Express, they worked at Standard Chartered Bank as a Sales Manager and contributed to increasing consumer card sales in Northern India. Vijay began their career as a Branch Manager at Blow Plast Ltd, where they were responsible for sales, P&L management, and branch operations.

Vijay Raghunathan's education history begins in 1989 when they enrolled at the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow. Vijay pursued an MBA in Management and completed their studies in 1991.

In 2010, Vijay pursued a Certificate program in High Performance Leadership at Cornell University. Their studies continued into 2011, and they successfully completed the program.

In 2014, Vijay attended The Wharton School for a Certificate program in Operations Management. Vijay finished this program within the same year.

Continuing their education in 2021, Vijay joined Stanford Continuing Studies for a course in Building and scaling subscription business. Although this course did not result in a degree, they completed the program in the same year.

Apart from their formal education, Vijay obtained various certifications. In November 2018, they completed a course on Storytelling by Shane Snow on LinkedIn. Vijay also obtained certifications in Strategic Thinking from LinkedIn and Fintech and the Transformation in Financial Services from Coursera in May 2018 and April 2018, respectively.
