Elizabeth Garrett Christensen has worked in a variety of roles since 2003. Elizabeth began their career as a Typesetter at Allen Press, Inc., where they later became a Project Manager, Online Services, Supervisor of Peer Review Support, and Technical Support. In 2014, they moved on to become the Publications Project Coordinator at the American Accounting Association. In 2016, they took on the role of Manager of Engineers and Customer Relations at End Point Corporation. In 2022, they became the Organizer of the Kansas City Postgres User Group and a Community Development Volunteer for the United States PostgreSQL Association. Currently, they are the Manager of Customer Success at Crunchy Data.

Elizabeth Garrett Christensen began their educational journey at The University of Texas at Austin, where they earned a BA in Anthropology and Archaeology in 2001. Elizabeth then went on to study Archaeology at The University of Kansas from 2002 to 2004. In 2000, they also attended Lund University to study Archeology, though they did not complete a degree there.
