Evan Macbeth has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. From 1996 to 1997, they worked as an Analyst for CIR (Communications Industry Researchers) and Dimension Enterprises. In 2000, they took on the role of Principal, Strategic Consulting for Nortel Networks. From 2002 to 2017, they worked for Sine Nomine Associates, starting as Director of OpenAFS and later taking on the roles of Director of Operations and Director of Strategy. In 2017, they joined Crunchy Data as Senior Director of Support, where they were responsible for PostgreSQL technical support and remote monitoring services. Evan also designed and implemented a significant change from a day/night support model to a weekly support model, and directed the selection and implementation of a new ticketing system.
Evan Macbeth obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Government and Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia in 1997. Evan then went on to receive their MA in Telecommunication from The George Washington University in 2001. Evan also holds an ITIL v3 Foundation certification from BEYOND20.
