Atul Aphale

Atul Aphale is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in data engineering and software development across multiple industries. Currently serving as the Director of Data Engineering at Crunchyroll, Atul oversees initiatives that enhance the connection to the global anime community. Previously, as the Head of Engineering in India for Sisu, Atul built an AI/ML-powered data intelligence system. At Mobile Premier League, Atul held the position of Vice President of Data & Reliability Engineering, leading a large-scale Site Reliability Engineering team and establishing a data engineering team from the ground up. Atul's earlier roles include significant engineering positions at companies such as Crevise Technologies, Rocket Software, Veritas Technologies, and Symantec, showcasing a strong background in cloud management, BI, and data analytics. Atul holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and an Executive Management degree from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
