Joe Whyte

Joe Whyte has extensive experience in the entertainment industry, specifically in the area of theatrical events and distribution. Joe is currently the Director of Theatrical Events and Distribution at Crunchyroll since March 2022. Prior to that, Joe held the same position at Funimation starting from June 2021. Joe also served as a Film Distribution Consultant at Funimation from October 2020 to June 2021.

Before joining Funimation, Joe worked as an Account Manager of Exhibitor Relations at Screenvision Media from February 2020 to July 2020. Joe also held the position of Director of Exhibitor Relations at Moviefone from March 2019 to September 2019 and at MoviePass from March 2018 to September 2019.

Earlier in their career, Joe worked as the Director of Sales at Twentieth Century Fox from September 2017 to March 2018. Joe gained experience as a Sales Representative at The Walt Disney Studios from January 2014 to September 2017. Prior to that, Joe held the role of Manager of Theatrical Distribution - Accounts Receivable at Focus Features from January 2012 to December 2013 and Manager of Distribution - Accounts Receivable and Exhibitor Relations at FilmDistrict from March 2011 to January 2012.
