EMEA Events Manager at Crunchyroll

Morgan Villalon has extensive work experience in events management and brand communication. They started their career as an Assistant Communication at the Chambre d'Agriculture du Finistère in 2013. They then worked as an Assistant Communication for the Festival Les Tombées de la Nuit in 2014, where they were responsible for print materials, website content, and social media management. In 2015, they worked as a Communication Project Manager for Sparknews, focusing on international editorial events and managing social media presence. They then joined Viz Media Europe in 2016 as an Events & Marketing Coordinator, where they organized trade fair participations and licensed IP presence at consumer fairs. In 2018, they became a Jr Brand Manager at Viz Media Europe, contributing to the global communication strategy for Japanese animation brands in the EMEA territory. In 2019, they joined Crunchyroll as an EMEA Brand Jr Manager, responsible for defining and executing communication strategies for various brands. They later transitioned to the role of Events & Content Manager at Crunchyroll, before becoming the EMEA Events Manager in 2022. Throughout their career, Morgan Villalon has demonstrated strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a focus on BtoB and BtoC event organization.

Morgan Villalon's education history begins in 2009, when they attended Lycée Gabriel Guist'hau and completed a Hypokhâgne B/L program, which focused on Lettres et Sciences sociales. From 2010 to 2012, they studied at Université Rennes 2, working towards a Licence 2 in Information Communication. Moving forward to 2012, Morgan Villalon attended Audencia SciencesCom, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Communication & Médias until 2013. Following this, from 2013 to 2015, they continued at Audencia SciencesCom for a Master's degree in Communication des Entreprises et des Institutions. Lastly, in 2014 and 2015, they studied at Nihon University, specializing in Japonais and Finance.
