Shimizu Fumio

Shimizu Fumio has a strong background in business and legal affairs, with extensive experience working in the entertainment industry. Shimizu most recently served as the Director of Business Affairs at Crunchyroll starting in June 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Director, Business & Legal Affairs at Warner Entertainment Japan for a noteworthy period of 17 years from June 2005 to June 2022. Before joining Warner Entertainment Japan, they were the Vice President of Legal Affairs at Gaga Communications from March 2001 to May 2005. Fumio began their career at Meiji Insurance Company, where they worked as an Assistant Manager from April 1991 to December 2000.

Shimizu Fumio obtained a Certificate in International Law from Temple University - James E. Beasley School of Law in 2015 through a program specific to Japan. Prior to that, Fumio attended Sophia University from 1987 to 1991 and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology.
