Xiaokun Xu

Xiaokun Xu has a diverse work experience in various roles within the fields of data science, machine learning, and research. From 2007 to 2013, Xiaokun worked as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Southern California. In 2013, Xiaokun joined Amazon as a Research Scientist and held that position until 2016. Xiaokun then worked at DogVacay as the Head of Data Science from 2016 to 2017, where they focused on supply-demand forecasting, optimization, and pricing analysis. From 2017 to 2022, Xiaokun worked at Amazon Studios as an Applied Science Manager, responsible for team building, project management, and collaborations. Currently, Xiaokun holds the position of Director of Data Science and Machine Learning at Crunchyroll, starting in 2023.

Xiaokun Xu holds a Ph.D in Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of Southern California. Prior to that, Xiaokun Xu obtained a M.Sc in Biomedical Engineering and a B.Sc in Biomedical Engineering from Southeast University.
