Crusader Community Health
Gary Fernando has a robust career in the medical field, starting as a Pediatrician at Crusader Community Health in 2011. Gary later served as President of the Winnebago County Medical Society from 2016 to 2018. In 2017, they joined the UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO COMER CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL as a Clinical Associate in Pediatrics until 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Medical Officer and continues their role as a Pediatrician at Crusader Community Health.
Gary Fernando completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering at Yale University from 1999 to 2003. Gary then went on to earn their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine from 2003 to 2007.
