Jennie Buckland

Jennie Buckland has extensive work experience in the field of supporting individuals with sight loss. Jennie most recently held the position of National Strategic Lead - CYP at Cruse Bereavement Support since December 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Operations Manager for Children and Adults with sight loss at The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association from January 2015 to December 2022. Before that, they were a Habilitation Specialist at Cumbria County Council from September 2007 to September 2014, and at Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council from January 2001 to September 2007. Jennie also served as a Rehabilitation Officer at HENSHAWS SOCIETY FOR BLIND PEOPLE TRUSTEE LIMITED from September 2000 to January 2001.
