Roger Fleig

Roger Fleig currently serves as the Senior Director of Engineering at Crusoe since December 2024. Prior to this role, Roger accumulated extensive experience at Google from April 2011 to December 2024, holding several Director of Engineering positions, including leadership in Core Machine Learning, Vertex AI, Core Data Infrastructure, Google-wide Code Health, and Google Shopping. Roger's work involved building and managing teams of engineers, creating foundational infrastructures, and automating model releases, significantly impacting Google's product offerings. Earlier in Roger's career, from January 1998 to March 2011, Roger held various roles at Microsoft, including Principal Test Manager for AdCenter and SQL Server, focusing on operability improvements and software testing. Roger holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree from Missouri University of Science and Technology, in Computer Science and Geology/Geophysics, respectively.
