Venkat Konatalapalli

Venkat Konatalapalli is a seasoned data operations leader with extensive experience in data engineering and management. Currently, as the Senior Vice President and Head of Data Ops Engineering at Crux, Venkat oversees the onboarding of data suppliers and customers onto the Managed Services platform and leads a multidisciplinary DataOps Engineering team in a multi-cloud environment. Prior to this role, Venkat served as Head of Data Engineering at Allspring Global Investments, where responsibilities included establishing data engineering functions and migrating on-prem databases to AWS Cloud. Venkat's career also includes significant roles at BlackRock, focused on data pipeline engineering and quantitative research infrastructure, as well as experience at Barclays, FO2, Capital One, Sun Microsystems, First USA Bank, JPMorgan, and Baan Info Systems. A graduate of Osmania University with a Master's in Computer Applications, Venkat has developed a strong foundation in object-oriented analysis, design, and database systems.
