George Zachary has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. George started their career as an Analyst at Strategic Planning Associates in 1987 and then worked for C*ATS Software in various roles from 1988 to 1989. George then joined VPL Research as Director of Sales, Marketing, and Product from 1989 to 1992, where they played a significant role in pioneering virtual reality technology. Subsequently, they worked at Silicon Graphics as part of the Nintendo 64 team from 1992 to 1995. Following this, they served as a General Partner at Mohr Davidow Ventures from 1995 to 2002.

In 2004, George Zachary joined CRV as a General Partner, where they achieved success by investing in companies like Twitter, Yammer (Microsoft), Millennial Media, and PillPack (Amazon). George played a key role in the growth of CRV's funds, with high multiples across different economic scenarios until 2020.

Additionally, George Zachary served as Director at StartX from its inception in 2008 until 2017, contributing to its evolution into one of the top accelerators globally. Overall, their extensive experience in venture capital, technology, and strategic planning demonstrates their expertise and leadership in the industry.

George Zachary earned a Bachelor's Degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1983 to 1987. Their degree was in Computer Science and Management Science, a joint degree program.
