Delphine Connan

Vice President Global Cryopreservation Operations at Cryoport

Delphine Connan has extensive experience in the field of cryopreservation and cell therapy. In 2008, they began their career as a Research Fellow at the Université de Liège (ULg), where they focused on cell biology, development, and cryobiology. Delphine later became the First Spin-off VITRICELL Project Leader, leading scientific research and development for the future spin-off company. Additionally, they were responsible for business development and strategy at VitriCell.

In 2017, Delphine Connan co-founded Cell Matters, a company that provides cell therapy companies with cryopreserved leukopaks and optimized cryoproduction processes. Delphine served as the CEO and co-Founder of Cell Matters and another cryo-specialist company called VitriCell. Both companies aimed to help Cell & Gene Therapy companies improve their cryopreservation processes and increase quality at the patient's side.

Most recently, Delphine Connan joined Cryoport in 2022 as the Vice President of Global Cryopreservation Operations. With their expertise in cryopreservation and cell therapy, they will contribute to the company's operations and further develop its cryogenic logistics capabilities.

Delphine Connan earned their Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Liège from 2002 to 2008.
