Cassie Morris, PhD has a long and varied work experience. Cassie began their career in 1998 as a Product Development Engineer/Scientist for Kimberly-Clark. In 2000, they started working as a Graduate Research Assistant for the University of Virginia - Department of Biomedical Engineering. In 2005, they became a Research Scientist for Barron Associates, Inc. Cassie then returned to Kimberly-Clark Healthcare in 2007, this time as a Research Scientist. In 2010, they were promoted to Senior Research Scientist. In 2012, they moved to Covidien as a Manager, Development Engineering, Peripheral Vascular. In 2014, they joined Medtronic as an R&D Director, Pipeline and Innovation and Senior R&D Manager, Emerging Technologies. In 2020, they began working at Sleep Number Corporation as a VP, Innovation Strategy & Business Ventures and Senior Director, Strategy & Innovation. Finally, in 2022, they started working for both Reprive Cardiovascular and Cryosa Inc. as a VP, Strategy, Innovation & Market Development.
Cassie Morris, PhD received their BE from Vanderbilt University in 1998 and their MS and PhD from the University of Virginia in 2005, both in Biomedical Engineering.
