Joana Lacerda

Joana Lacerda is a multifaceted professional with extensive experience in the intersection of technology, art, and social impact. As the Head of NFT & Gaming Ecosystem at Algorand Foundation since December 2022, Joana focuses on advancing blockchain technology for an inclusive economy. In addition, Joana serves as an Advisory Board Member and Director of Creator Programs at Crypto Chicks, and as the Founder of WomenWeb3, fostering representation and inclusivity in the Web3 space. Other notable roles include High-Level Advisor on Artificial Intelligence for the European DIGITAL SME Alliance, Country Coordinator of The European Climate Pact for the European Commission Directorate-General for Climate Action, and Co-Founder of the FightBack Community. Joana has also been recognized as a member of the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe Class of 2017 for contributions in Law and Policy. Joana holds a Master of Architecture from Universidade Lusíada do Porto and has pursued additional education at prestigious institutions such as the University of Leeds and London Business School.
