Michelle Flournoy has a diverse work experience in various industries. Michelle currently serves as the Director of Strategic Operations, Learning, and Engagement at the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art. Before that, they worked at the Dairy Farmers of America as the Manager of Meeting and Events, Communications for four years. Prior to that, they held the position of Assistant Manager, Changing Education Through the Arts at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts for seven years. Michelle also worked as the Marketing and Events Coordinator at Arkansas Business Publishing Group and as the Advertising Coordinator, The Arkansas Traveler at the University of Arkansas. Michelle started their career as a Program Intern at Walton Arts Center and Walmart AMP.
Michelle Flournoy obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music/Marketing from the University of Arkansas, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. Michelle later pursued a Master of Arts degree in Communication at The Johns Hopkins University, completing their studies from 2012 to 2013.
