Education Coordinator For Terrestrial Programs at Crystal Cove Conservancy

Brent Castanon serves as the Education Coordinator for Terrestrial Programs at Crystal Cove Conservancy since January 2022, following a role as an Education Specialist. Brent's recent experience includes a position as a Natural Resource Graduate Intern with California State Parks from June 2023 to September 2023 and a stint as a STEM Instructor at BrainStorm STEM Education from October 2021 to April 2022. Prior to these roles, Brent worked as a Civil Associate I and II at Michael Baker International from September 2017 to March 2020 and as a Hydraulics Laboratory Research Assistant at Cal Poly Engineering from July 2016 to April 2017. Brent is pursuing a Master's degree in Conservation and Restoration Science at UC Irvine, expected to complete in June 2024, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering: Environmental Option from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, in addition to two Associate degrees from Citrus College.
