Carlos Rojo

Carlos Rojo has diverse work experience in various leadership and technology roles. Carlos is currently working at Crystal IS as the VP of Global Operations, a position they have held since July 2023. Before that, from May 2021 to July 2023, they were the Operations Director at Crystal IS. Prior to their role at Crystal IS, Carlos worked as the Chief Technology Officer at Pallidus, Inc. from December 2020 to May 2021.

Carlos also has a significant tenure at GE Global Research, where they held multiple roles. From March 2015 to December 2020, they served as the Technology Manager, Semiconductors. Before that, they were the Manager of Electronic Materials & Physics from an unspecified date in 2010 to March 2015. From July 2006 to December 2010, Carlos worked as a Physicist at GE Global Research.

Their career began at Stony Brook University, where they were an Assistant Professor of Materials Science and Engineering from October 2002 to July 2006. Prior to that, Carlos held various positions at Crystal IS, including VP & COO from January 2002 to October 2002, VP from June 1999 to December 2001, and Staff Researcher from January 1999 to May 1999.

Carlos started their professional journey as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Minnesota from May 1997 to December 1998.

Carlos Rojo earned their PhD in Physics from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid from 1993 to 1997.
