Nate Sievert is an experienced outdoor leader and guide, currently serving as a Lead Guide for Alpine Ascents International since April 2021, where responsibilities include navigating technical alpine terrain and instructing on demanding multi-day climbing expeditions. Simultaneously, since November 2018, Nate has been a Pro Ski Patrol at Crystal Mountain Resort, focusing on avalanche mitigation and emergency medical response. Prior roles include Lead Guide and Assistant Guide at International Mountain Guides, and Outdoor Recreation Policy Fellow with the Alaska Fellows Program, where Nate co-coordinated the Trans-Alaska Trail project. Additional experience includes co-leading a service program in Peru and working as a ski instructor for Ski Masters Ski & Snowboard School. Nate holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies from Yale University.
