Katie Murphy

Katie Murphy (Young) serves as Senior Manager of Business Continuity at C&S Wholesale Grocers, leading efforts to monitor emerging threats and enhance inter-departmental response during business disruptions. Prior experience includes a role as Director of the Emergency Operations Center at the New York City Emergency Management Department, where Katie was responsible for strategic management, EOC protocol development, training, and oversight during various emergency incidents. Additional experience encompasses positions at the American Red Cross and The Chertoff Group, contributing to disaster response logistics and security assessments, respectively. Katie holds a Master of Public Health from Tulane University and has participated in a leadership development program with the New Jersey Food Council.
