Kimmo Koivunen

Kimmo Koivunen serves as the Director of a Business Unit at CSC - IT Center for Science since October 2007, overseeing various data management services for customers. Previous roles include Development Manager for Digital Preservation Services, where responsibilities involved developing national services for the Ministry of Education and Culture, and managing a team focused on tools for data. Prior to CSC, Kimmo worked as an Application Architect at CSC - IT Center for Science Ltd. and as a researcher at the University of Tampere, specializing in visual perception, online learning environments, and related publications. Kimmo holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Education, and Mathematics from the University of Tampere.
