Elizabeth Sheyn Brown

Elizabeth Sheyn Brown has extensive experience in the legal field. Elizabeth began their career in 2008 as a PILI Fellow at Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law - MacArthur Justice Center. Elizabeth then worked as a Law Clerk to Judge James S. Gwin at U.S. District Courts and a Law Clerk to Judge Helene N. White at the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. In 2009, they worked as a Litigation Associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP and a Staff Attorney at Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law - MacArthur Justice Center. In 2011, they returned to Kirkland & Ellis LLP as a Senior Litigation Associate. In 2014, they moved to Dover Corporation as Compliance Counsel. In 2016, they joined Groupon as Assistant General Counsel and Senior Counsel, Global Compliance & Employment. In 2020, they became the General Counsel and Chief Administrative Officer of CSC Generation Holdings, Inc. and also held the roles of General Counsel & Acting VP of HR and Acting General Counsel. In 2022, they began working as an Adjunct Professor at DePaul University College of Law.

Elizabeth Sheyn Brown obtained a JD from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School between 2005 and 2008. Prior to that, they earned a BA in Political Science and Government, Russian Language & Literature from the University of Chicago between 2002 and 2005. In 2016, they obtained a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) from the Compliance Certification Board (CCB) and in 2018, they obtained a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI.
