Vlad Smyrnov

Vlad Smyrnov has held a number of positions in the software engineering industry since 1995. Vlad began their career at Hummingbird Communications as a QA Analyst. Vlad then moved to NUmetrix (JD Edwards) in 1999, where they served as a Senior QA Analyst Team Lead. In 2000, they joined PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Associate. Vlad then moved to BMO Harris Private Banking in 2014 as a Senior QA Analyst. In 2015, they joined LoyaltyOne as a Senior QA Engineer, where they were responsible for Test Automation solutions from ground up for CI/CD, AWS, Web UI, REST API, SOAP, Batches, Data extracts using modern BDD based testing frameworks, such as Spock/Groovy, Cucumber/Java/ Mocha/Typescript, as well as exploratory manual testing, test approach and strategies, test case design, POC initiatives, etc. In 2021, they joined CSC Generation as a Senior Quality Engineer.

Vlad Smyrnov attended Chernivci National 'Juriy Fedkovyc' University from 1985 to 1991, where they obtained a Master's degree in Optical Research and Engineering.
