Melle Jan-Douwe Stumphius

Melle Jan-Douwe Stumphius is an accomplished Interior Architect and CEO of Melle Stumphius Interieurarchitectuur since October 2012, specializing in creating resilient interior designs across various sectors, including office, retail, hospitality, and healthcare. Stumphius is also a member of the bs;bp collective, contributing to significant projects such as HQ PicNic in Amsterdam and Spaces in multiple European cities. Additionally, Stumphius serves as an educator, teaching Vectorworks at Cadix and providing guidance to students at CSG-Comenius and Cibap vakschool voor verbeelding. Creative pursuits include co-owning Mormel, a design venture with Monique Koning, and past experience as a camera operator and delivery driver. Stumphius holds a Bachelor of Design in Interior Architecture from ArtEZ University of the Arts and an MBO in Industrial Design from Friesland College.
