Steven Medeiros

Steven "Kanani" Medeiros currently serves as the Associate Director for Justice Systems Transformation at CSH, the Source for Housing Solutions, where efforts focus on improving housing access for vulnerable populations involved in the carceral system. Medeiros has cultivated a strong background in policy advocacy through roles including Summer Fellow at UC Berkeley School of Law's Policy Advocacy Clinic, and as a Criminal Justice Policy Consultant for the ACLU of Northern California. Previous experience includes positions with the ACLU of Hawaii and Northern California, alongside extensive engagement in leadership and advocacy training through organizations like Urban Habitat and New Leaders Council. Medeiros holds a Master in Public Policy from UC Berkeley and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a concentration in Criminology from San Jose State University.
