Julius Magheke

Julius Magheke is an experienced OHSE professional currently serving as the OHSE Lead at CSI Energy Group since June 2023, overseeing health and safety during the construction of a filtration plant at Barrick North Mara Gold Mine in Tanzania. Previously, Julius held the position of OHSE Manager at D.B Shapriya + Co. Ltd and has accumulated extensive experience in health, safety, and environmental roles, including Health Safety Environment Supervisor at Kamba's Group of Companies Ltd and QHSE Manager at Ortec Services Industrie (OSI) Tanzania. Julius's career began in various operational roles, including Ordinary Sailor and Ward Census Supervisor, complemented by a solid educational background in occupational safety and shipping management, including multiple certifications from the Dar es Salaam Maritime Institute and OSHA Tanzania.
