Ramiro Bava Avila

Ramiro Bava Avila has extensive experience in construction management and civil engineering, currently serving as both Construction Manager and Director de Obra at CSI since February 2008. Notable projects include overseeing civil works for Maltería Uruguay S.A. and leading the execution of non-process building projects for Montes del Plata. In addition, Ramiro held the position of Area Manager at AFRY from August 2019 to September 2023, managing mill site operations and supervising civil works for the UPM2 project. Previous roles include Area Manager and Civil Supervisor at Pöyry, where responsibilities encompassed supervision of civil works and project management for various industrial facilities. Ramiro started as an architect and design assistant at CSI in 1999 after obtaining an architecture degree in construction management from Universidad de la República.
