Steve Kargas, MD, PhD, MBA, FACHE, serves as the Director of Surgical Pathology at CSI Laboratories since December 2009. Kargas is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and held this position from 2017 to 2021. Prior experience includes a role as a Surgical Pathologist at Genzyme Genetics from August 1999 to September 2009. Kargas holds a Master of Business Administration from Pepperdine Graziadio School of Business and Management, a Surgical Pathology Fellowship from City of Hope Medical Center, and an MD and PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with medical training completed at Stanford University School of Medicine.
