Yousra Haddad Belfkih

Yousra Haddad Belfkih is a predoctoral researcher at CSIC since May 2023, engaged in the "SMART-water" project focused on selecting scale inhibitors through machine learning for sustainable water technologies. In early 2025, Yousra will serve as a visiting PhD student at CINaM, where research will involve microfluidic experiments to study nucleation in gypsum confinement. Previous experience includes teaching science and preparing chemistry lessons at La Piga, participating in a research scholarship at UPC in sustainable water management, and providing teaching support for various geology courses at UPC. Yousra's background also encompasses collaboration with the journal Geologica Acta, internships at the University of Barcelona's ICT area, and the petrology department of Museu Blau, contributing to geological research and education. Yousra completed a Bachelor of Science in Geology at Universitat de Barcelona and a master's degree at UPC.
