Geethavani Rayasam

Geethavani Rayasam currently serves as Scientist H and Head of CSIR-HRDG at CSIR India since February 2022, after a significant tenure at the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, where involvement included roles such as Senior Principal Scientist and Head of Science Communication & Science Dissemination. Previous experience includes serving as Principal Scientist at CSIR-IGIB, leading scientific corporate alliances, and holding the position of Research Manager at Smart Analyst, focusing on life science consultancy for pharmaceutical companies. Geethavani Rayasam's earlier career includes a role as Senior Research Scientist at Ranbaxy and a Fogarty International Fellow at the National Cancer Institute. Educational credentials include a Post Doctoral Research degree in nuclear receptors from Université Louis Pasteur and a degree from the Indian Institute of Science.
