Giorgia Jurisic Snijder

Giorgia Jurisic Snijder is a highly experienced scientist currently serving as Head of Cellular Pharmacology & Imaging at CSL since July 2023. Prior to this role, Giorgia was Head of Therapeutic Research Nephrology at CSL Vifor, leading a preclinical research group focused on developing therapeutics for acute and chronic kidney disease. Giorgia spent a decade at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research, first as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow investigating G-protein coupled receptors and subsequently as a Principal Scientist managing a vascular biology lab dedicated to target discovery in regenerative medicine. Giorgia's academic credentials include a PhD in Molecular Life Sciences from ETH Zürich and a Master's degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Zagreb.
