Cameron Covitz

Cameron Covitz has a diverse range of work experience in the hospitality industry. They started their career as a Show Office Assistant at Southern Shows, Inc. in 2015. They then moved on to work as a Marketing and Sales Intern at the Greensboro Convention and Visitors Bureau. In 2016, they worked as an Administrative Assistant at Austin Drainage & Landscape Development.

Their career in the hotel industry began in 2016 as a Sales Coordinator at a Full Service Marriott in Austin, TX. They then became a Sales Manager at Residence Inn by Marriott in Chicago, IL, where they specialized in the SMERF market.

In 2018, they transitioned to Interstate Hotels & Resorts, first as a Sales Manager and later as a Senior Sales Manager, taking on the role of Interim Director of Sales.

Cameron Covitz joined Aimbridge Hospitality in 2019 as a Director of Sales at Courtyard by Marriott in Chicago, IL. Later that year, they also took on the role of Regional Director of Sales at CSM Corporation, overseeing a region of 11 CSM-managed hotels in several states.

In 2020, they became the Corporate Director of Sales and Marketing at CSM Corporation, where they were the creator and leader of the CSM Sales Executive Council.

Cameron Covitz completed their Bachelor's Degree in Sustainable Tourism and Hospitality Management from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. In 2013, they also participated in a Semester Abroad program at James Cook University in Townsville, QLD, Australia. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including the Post-Crisis Leadership Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in July 2020, as well as the Marriott Aviation Sales Certification and Marriott Government Sales Certification from Marriott International in May and April 2020, respectively.
