Adrian Byrne

Adrian Byrne is a seasoned research data scientist with extensive experience in the fields of statistics, economics, and artificial intelligence. Currently serving as a Senior Research Data Scientist and a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Career-FIT PLUS Fellow at CeADAR Ireland, Adrian also leads research on AI ethics at Idiro Analytics and contributes as a member of various committees, including the National Standards Authority of Ireland's subcommittee on artificial intelligence and a pan-European taskforce with etami. Adrian holds the position of Officer of Statistics at the Central Statistics Office Ireland and has academic affiliations as an Associate co-applicant, Research Fellow, and Statistician at the University of Nottingham. Adrian's educational background includes a PhD in Social Statistics from The University of Manchester, complemented by master's degrees in Statistics and Economics, as well as a bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Economics.
