Chris Sibley

Chris Sibley has extensive experience in the field of statistics, currently serving as the Assistant Director General for International Accounts, Trade & Government Financial Statistics at the Central Statistics Office Ireland (CSO) since 2003. Previously held leadership roles at CSO, including Head of National Accounts Integration & Large Cases Division and Head of Balance of Payments Analysis & Dissemination Division, and worked as a statistician focusing on corporate profits and financial accounts. Since September 2012, Chris has also been a part-time lecturer at the Institute of Public Administration, coordinating a Professional Diploma in Official Statistics for Policy Evaluation, and previously taught at the University of Limerick and Trinity College Dublin. Chris earned a PhD in Economics from Trinity College Dublin and holds both BA and MA degrees in Economics from University College Dublin.
