Silvia Lavoretano

Silvia Lavoretano possesses extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and medical research sectors, currently serving as Business Development Manager at CSO Pharmitalia Contract Sales Organization SpA since January 2008, where previous roles included Field Manager, District Manager, Area Manager, and Informatore Medico Scientifico. Silvia's expertise spans various medical fields, including General Medicine, Gastroenterology, Phlebology, and Pediatrics. Prior to this, Silvia worked as a researcher at IRCCS Fondazione Ospedale Maggiore, focusing on clinical, genetic, and therapeutic data of patients with thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura. Silvia also completed a Ph.D. in Internal Medicine at the Università degli Studi di Milano, specializing in the genotypic characterization of TTP patients. Early research experience includes work on congenital prothrombin deficiency and thrombophilia at the same university.
