Lydia Raath

Lydia Raath is a seasoned professional in the field of molecular biology and seed operations, currently serving as Group Manager of Seed Operations and Manager of Seed Quality Control at CSS Farms, LLC since September 2016. Prior to this role, Lydia held positions such as Biotech Compliance Associate and Associate Molecular Scientist I at J.R. Simplot Company from October 2011 to September 2016, and worked as a Research Associate at Santa Cruz Biotechnology from April 2010 to November 2011. Earlier experience includes a role as a Laboratory Technician at the Institute for Environmental Health in January to April 2010, where Lydia performed critical testing for foodborne pathogens. Lydia earned a B.S. in Chemistry/Biochemistry from the University of Oklahoma and continued education at Washington University in St. Louis from 2015 to 2018.
