Scott Pensky

Scott Pensky is an experienced professional in agricultural data engineering, quality control, and agronomy, currently serving as an Ag QC Engineer at CSS Farms, LLC since December 2018. In this role, Scott ensures accurate on-farm data collection and develops a data quality control framework, while also providing analytics focused on sustainability strategies. Previously, Scott held positions as an Ag Data Engineer, where data collection processes were enhanced through various software applications, and as an Agronomist overseeing significant acreage of potato production. Scott's academic background includes a Master of Science in Soil Chemistry and Physics from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor of Science in Soil Sciences from California Polytechnic State University. Additional experiences range from roles at LSU AgCenter and Cal Poly to internships with the U.S. Forest Service and Smart Action, showcasing a diverse skill set in research, sustainability, and data management.
