Ramesh Paudyal

Ramesh Paudyal, Ph.D., is a Senior Social Scientist at CSS Inc. under contract to NOAA since January 2023, bringing a wealth of experience in social science research related to fish and wildlife. Prior roles include Associate Research Scientist and Fish and Wildlife Biological Scientist at the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission from April 2018 to January 2023, and Research Associate at the University of Florida from August 2013 to April 2018. Early experience includes Graduate Research Assistant positions at the University of Florida and The University of Georgia, focusing on research projects assessing forest visitors' attitudes and the impact of climate change on trout fishing, culminating in a peer-reviewed publication. Ramesh Paudyal holds a Ph.D. in Forest Resources and Conservation from the University of Florida and Master's degrees in Forest Resources and Environmental Science from The University of Georgia and Tribhuvan University, respectively.
