Andrew Roberts

Andrew Roberts has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity, IT compliance, internal audit, and risk management. Andrew is currently serving as the Chief Cybersecurity Strategist at MicroAge since July 2022. Prior to that, they held the same position at cStor starting from November 2017.

Apart from their cybersecurity roles, Andrew also has experience in credit union operations. At Copper State Credit Union, they served as the Chairman from June 2022, Vice Chairman from April 2020 to June 2022, and Director from April 2018 to April 2020.

In terms of their earlier experiences, Andrew worked at Grand Canyon University as the Director of IT Compliance & Risk Management from March 2009 to March 2017. Andrew was responsible for developing and implementing IT policies, establishing the IT Security department, and managing overall cybersecurity risks.

Before joining the university, Andrew worked as an Independent Consultant for various Fortune 1000 clients starting from January 2004 to March 2009. Andrew provided advisory services related to regulatory compliance, internal control, governance, and IT and internal audit.

Prior to their consulting role, Andrew served as the Chief Internal Auditor at Morris Kirschman & Co., LLC from August 2002 to August 2003. Andrew established the Internal Audit function and defined the scope and responsibility of the audit function.

Andrew's career began as an Internal Audit Intern at Louisiana State Employees' Retirement System from September 1998 to April 1999. Following that, they worked as an IT/Operational Auditor at PRI Audit & Control from June 1999 to July 2002, where they supervised audit teams and worked with Fortune 500 clients.

Andrew Roberts obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Management Information Systems/Internal Audit from Louisiana State University from 1996 to 1999. Andrew has also obtained various certifications, including Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer™ (CDPSE™) from ISACA in August 2020, Certified in Risk and Information System Controls (CRISC) from ISACA in November 2010, Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA in July 2001, and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. in November 1998.
