Nancy Covarrubias Gill

Nancy Covarrubias Gill, M.P.A., has over 27 years of experience in communication, public relations, and fund development, primarily at California State University Channel Islands since November 1999. Serving in various leadership roles, including Associate Vice President for Communication & Public Relations, Nancy has directed the Communication & Marketing team and developed an emergency communication action plan as Public Information Officer. Prior to this, Nancy held positions focused on student communication and donor relations, significantly enhancing the University’s outreach and fundraising efforts. Earlier experience includes directing membership and development at the Museum of Ventura County and fund development at St. John's Regional Medical Center. Nancy holds a Master of Public Administration from California State University, Long Beach and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from California State University-Channel Islands.
