Wesley Cooper

Wesley Cooper, APPA EFP, LEED GA, currently serves as the Senior Director of Facilities Services at CSU Channel Islands, a role held since April 2010, overseeing day-to-day operations, energy management, and campus utility budgets. In addition, Wesley has been contributing to the California Military Department as an Operations NCO in the CA State Guard since April 2017, providing essential support during civil unrest and disasters. Previous experience includes managing minor construction and renovation projects at Humboldt State University and CSU Channel Islands, along with earlier roles as a Firefighter at Camarillo State Hospital and a Carpenter at Fanelli Construction. Educational qualifications include POST certifications from Alan Hancock, a certification in Fire Prevention and Safety Technology from Oxnard College, and a C8 Contractor’s License from the California State Licensing Board.
