Jody Lassiter

Jody Lassiter, JD, MEDP, is an experienced professional in economic and community development with a diverse background in law and public service. Currently serving as the Manager of Industrial Development for CSX, Jody promotes new industries across Kentucky, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and the District of Columbia. Prior roles include President/CEO of Develop Danville, Inc., where Jody unified various economic development initiatives in Boyle County, and Executive Director of Logan Economic Alliance for Development, focusing on Logan County's economic activities. Additionally, Jody has held significant legal and administrative positions, including Attorney at Law, Commissioner of the Kentucky Department for Local Government, and Director of the Office of Constituent Services under the Governor of Kentucky. Jody Lassiter holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science/History, a Juris Doctor, and several advanced certificates in economic development.
