Juan Pablo Diaz Castillo

Juan Pablo Diaz Castillo has over two decades of experience in international development and cooperation, currently serving as Programme Manager and Industrial Development Officer at UNIDO since 2003, where responsibilities include managing technical cooperation projects, overseeing budget implementation, and advising on financial procedures. Previously, Juan Pablo worked at the Embassy and Permanent Mission of Guatemala from 1998 to 2003, holding the role of Technical Cooperation and Administration Officer, facilitating multilateral liaison activities with various international organizations and monitoring technical projects in Guatemala. Juan Pablo holds a Master’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Vienna and a Licentiate degree in Political Science, International Relations, Trade and Economics from Universidad Francisco Marroquín.
