Venancio started their career at Philippine Veterans Bank in 2007 as a Data Center Operator and was responsible for executing programs and applications, monitoring ATM connections, and the hardware status of the data center environment.
In 2010, Venancio was promoted to the role of Data Center Shift Supervisor, where they supervised data center operations within their shift, ensuring the timely and accurate operation of online and batch systems. Venancio also provided immediate resolution to any problems encountered.
In 2014, Venancio was appointed as the Head of the Data Center Operations Department at Philippine Veterans Bank. In this role, they had overall responsibility for the daily supervision and management of the data center. Venancio administered the operations of all shifts, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of all production systems. Venancio also ensured the availability of all system applications, proper maintenance of equipment, execution of job requests and backup processes, and compliance with standard operating procedures.
Most recently, Venancio joined CTBC Bank Philippines in 2022 as the Head of the Data Center Management Unit. In this position, their responsibilities include overseeing the management of the data center and ensuring its smooth operation.
