Letícia Frizzo Ferigolo

Letícia Frizzo Ferigolo, PhD, currently serves as Research Associate II at CTC - Centro de Tecnologia Canavieira since January 2022, focusing on trait expression in sugarcane and vector strategies for transgene delivery, among other responsibilities in GMO product development. Previously, Letícia held positions as Research Associate I at CTC, where contributions included gene and vector strategy, functional genomics, and supporting proof of concept projects, as well as teaching as a Professor at Anhanguera Educacional. Letícia has also gained international experience as a Visiting Researcher at the John Innes Centre, specializing in plant meristem analysis and advanced cloning techniques. Academically, Letícia earned a PhD in Molecular Plant Genetics from Escola Superior de Agricultura Luiz de Queiroz - ESALQ/USP and holds both a Master's degree in Plant Physiology and Mineral Nutrition and a Bachelor's degree in Agronomy from Universidade Federal de Santa Maria.
