Christer Aspman

Christer Aspman has a diverse work experience spanning across various companies and roles.

Starting in 2004, they worked at Volvo Car Corporation as a software developer and later became a software quality assurance engineer. In this role, they focused on process development for ISO15504 and establishing role descriptions and processes for configuration management and project management.

In 2007, Christer moved to Volvo 3P as a function developer, where they were responsible for Audio, Bluetooth, and Navigation. Christer also worked as a team leader for function developers within the infotainment and cab area, managing two research projects.

In 2012, they joined Volvo Group Global as the Strategy Responsible for Driver Electronics. Christer then moved to Semcon as a group manager and later became the Infotainment Architect at Volvo Car Corporation.

From 2013 to 2015, Christer worked at Scania as the HMI Teamleader, Object leader for Infotainment SW, and Function owner for Infotainment.

Christer joined CEVT (China Euro Vehicle Technology AB) in 2015 as a project manager for controls and calibration, and worked there until 2020.

In 2020, Christer joined Semcon again as a Scrum Master for Safety SW, and later joined Veoneer as a Scrum Master and Release Train Engineer.

Their most recent role, starting in 2022, is as a Release Train Engineer at CTEK.

Overall, Christer Aspman has gained extensive experience in software development, quality assurance, project management, and leadership roles in the automotive industry.

Christer Aspman earned a Bachelor of Science (B Sc) degree in Electrical Engineering from Örebro University, where they studied from 1992 to 1995. Before attending the university, they also attended Bergslagsskolan from 1989 to 1992, but the degree obtained and field of study during that time is unknown. Additionally, they obtained the certification of Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in November 2022.
