Fadi Kassem is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in power and thermal management firmware development for various platforms. Currently, Fadi works at Cisco as a Next Generation Firewall engineer since February 2016. Concurrently, Fadi has been employed at Computer Task Group since 2013, focusing on power and thermal management firmware for the PowerPC 405 On-Chip Controller (OCC) and the Flexible Service Processor (FSP) on P8 and P9 Power chips. Prior to this, Fadi spent a decade at IBM from 2003 to 2013, with roles ranging from Staff Software Engineer to Software Engineer, specializing in firmware development for Power chips and AIX device drivers. Fadi holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from The University of Texas at El Paso, earned between 2000 and 2003.
